Port Welshpool Long Jetty Officially Opened

The Port Welshpool Long Jetty has been officially opened by the South Gippsland Shire Council after completion of a $11.1 million rehabilitation and rebuilding project joint-funded by Federal and State government, Council and the Victorian Fisheries Authority.

Urban Enterprise completed an Economic Impact Assessment for the project which underpinned Council’s application for Federal funding to restore and reopen the Long Jetty, the largest tourism infrastructure project to ever be undertaken in South Gippsland.

Urban Enterprise congratulates on the official opening and is proud to have been a part of the process to re-establish this important tourism and recreation asset for visitors and the local community alike. For further information on our economic impact and tourism services, please contact Kurt Ainsaar or Jonathan Rochwerger.
