Sunshine Coast Destination Management Plan

Client: Visit Sunshine Coast

Visit Sunshine Coast commissioned Urban Enterprise to develop a Destination Tourism Plan to provide direction for the Sunshine Coast visitor economy from 2020 to 2025.

This document examined the current visitor economy at a sub-regional level (for the Sunshine Coast, Noosa and Gympie Local Government Areas), including visitation, visitor trends and a profile of products and experiences. From this analysis, as well as extensive consultation, Urban Enterprise identified key strategies, priority projects and investment opportunities, as well as realistic targets to help grow the Sunshine Coast tourism industry.

This included an assessment of accommodation needs, infrastructure and future product needs in order to drive sustainable growth in the visitor economy.
