Danielle Phyland Appointed Chair of EDA Victorian State Practitioner Network

We are proud to announce that Danielle Phyland (Associate, tourism) has been appointed to the position of Chair of Economic Development Australia’s (EDA) Victorian State Practitioner Network (SPN).

Danielle has been a member of EDA for many years, and has spent 6 years on the committee in various roles. In March, Danielle was elected to the position of Chair and is keen to get the new committee engaged in delivering events and services for the Victorian Members.

EDA is a nationally recognised network of economic development professionals, fostering prosperity in communities across Australia. Established in 2007, EDA has over 1,900 members and State Practitioner Networks across Australia.

SPNs deliver dynamic professional development programs, collegial member support, valuable networking opportunities and research, advocacy and policy development advice and influence.

This year Victoria is hosting the National Economic Development Conference in Melbourne. Danielle is excited to have the opportunity to showcase the work of Victorian economic development practitioners to the nation.
