Urban Enterprise and Tract Give Fitzroy Gardens New Life

A new Visitor Centre has been recently opened by the City of Melbourne at Fitzroy Gardens, implementing a key recommendation of work prepared by Urban Enterprise in partnership with Tract on the Fitzroy Gardens Tourism Precinct Feasibility Assessment.

Urban Enterprise identified the need for improved visitor facilities to support the estimated 3 million visitors to the gardens each year. The Visitor Centre is located near Cooks' Cottage - the oldest building in Australia - and includes a cafe and visitor services.
