The Shepparton Truck and Transport Museum receives major funding boost!

The proposed Truck and Transport Museum in Shepparton’s Emerald Bank Precinct has secured $2.5m in funding. The Federal Government announced on Friday that the project will receive funding from the Regional Jobs and Investment Packages (RJIP).

Urban Enterprise were pleased to prepare the Business Case for the Museum, which included an assessment of market potential, case study analysis, high-level concept plans and a financial and economic impact assessment.

The Shepparton Truck and Transport Museum and Events Hub will showcase the Goulburn Valley’s rich history and heritage centred on trucking, transport and agriculture. Visitors will be engaged through interactive multimedia and fixed displays, along with curated exhibitions depicting the settlement, growth and establishment of the Goulburn Valley as a major national transport hub and one of the Nation’s leading food bowls. The dedicated Museum and outdoor covered events space will significantly bolster the region’s cultural tourism offering along with events capability.
