Hazelwood North Solar Farm Economic Impact Assessment

We completed an assessment of socioeconomic impact for a proposed 400MW solar farm in Hazelwood North in Gippsland, Victoria.
The assessment seeks to identify, justify and quantify (where possible) the suite of economic benefits that are expected to be delivered during the construction and operation phase of the project.
The findings are supported by a review and assessment of relevant strategies and policies, comparable case studies for large-scale solar farms, and a profile of the local economy used to identify potential supply-chain opportunities.
A planning permit was issued in 2024.
